3 Day Skin Detox

Want to improve your skin in 3 days?
Me too!
Here are some quick and easy methods like massage and facials that will flush out toxins and leave your skin glowing!

Day 1:

Day 1 is a preparation day.
1.) Start by visiting the grocery store, stock the fridge with detox foods! These antioxidant packed fruits and veggies will help repair, and prevent damage to your skin!
Such as: cranberries, apples, grapes, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and raw honey
Make sure to avoid alcohol, tobacco, and all refined sugars for the next 2 days. These things stress the body and also promote puffiness in your skin.

2.) Clean up your space!
Your skin only looks as good as your body feels. Having a clutter free home will help you to slow down your routine, relax, and recharge for your best skin ever!

Day 2:

Day 2 Start your Cleanse!

Morning:
Start your day off with Tea instead of coffee, tea will help decongest your skin and reduce the puffiness around your eyes. Look for teas with: dandelion, ginger, nettle, burdock, or sarsaparilla root.

Afternoon:
Lymphatic Drainage!
Using gentle upward movements with very light pressure, start with your ankles and move upward.
The idea is to move the lymphatic fluid back towards your heart.  So from your ankles go to the back of your knees, then to your pelvic bone and up to your abdomen.
From here release and start with your forehead, use your fingertips to gently move lymph from the center of your face towards your ears. Repeat  this all the way down to your collar bone. Here you will start at your wrist and move in towards your underarms.
Now that your lymph is moving give your whole body a long stretch!

Evening:
Give yourself a at home mini facial!
Start with exfoliation! 
Remove excess skin cells with the scrub of your choice or get the peeling mask from Luster Spa!
Next Mask!

Leave the mask on for atleast 20 minutes while you relax!
Remove and moisturize


Day 3:
The Final Day!

Morning:
Wake up with a body scrub! Try to find a coffee scrub, to boost circulation and pump toxins from your body!

Afternoon:
Exercise!
Take a brisk walk or try some yoga!
Make sure whatever you do to take deep breaths! Deep breathing stimulates the lymph system and brings cleansing oxygen to your whole body.

Evening:
Nourish your complexion!
Spread a few table spoons of raw honey over your face, then apply cold cucumber slices over the top of the honey.
Next cover your face with a warm towel and relax, 20 minutes.
Honey will act as a natural anti-inflammatory and cucumbers will flush out excess fluid and relieve any remaining puffiness.
